Alan Margolius
SVP of Development
Alan is the Senior Vice President of Development at BurnBrae and is responsible for managing projects through financing and development. Alan was a hotel and real estate developer/operator for 45 years, and has been directly involved in the development and financing of over 1,500 hotel rooms. He was a partner and critical player in the development of the world’s first Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rockville, Maryland consisting of a 318-room full service hotel and a 160,000-square foot office building. Alan served on numerous committees of the International Association of Holiday Inns including the Advertising and Marketing Committee that authored the Priority Club, the predecessor to the IHG Rewards Club (Intercontinental Hotel Group), which was one of the hotel industry’s first loyalty reward program for hotel guests. Alan, graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, majoring in Economics.
